Lot 331. 1935 Fancy Frame Script Signatures (Football Series 1) Complete set of 7 measuring approx. 6 by 6 1/2 inches with full fancy frame unless noted. Far more difficult than baseball. All seven subjects are in the Collegiate HOF and Nevers and Grange are also in the NFL HOF. Includes Red Grange, (ex-mt, but thin outside frame line missing), Cris Cagle (nr mt with pinhole), Benny Friedman (excellent+), Howard Jones (ex-mt, with Wheaties tab at bottom), Harry Kipke (excellent-mint), Pop Warner (trimmed to inside picture o/w excellent) and Ernie Nevers (trimmed to inside picture o/w mint).
