Lot 333. 1936 All-Americans (Football Series 3) Near set of 11, missing only Beise, including very scarce panels of Minnesota coach Bernie Bierman and Notre Dame end Wayne Millner. Usually cut down to the player's picture, these are rarely found in full 6 by 8 1/4 inch panels. 8 full panels: Wayne Millner (Ex+); Darrell Lester (ex+), Andy Pilney (excellent); Truman Spain (vg,), Charles Wasicek (ex-mt), Bobby Wilson (ex), Riley Smith (ex-mt) and Edward Michaels (vg); 3 panels have been cut to approximately 4 1/2" x 5". Bennie Bierman, Dick Smith and Monk Moscrip (otherwise excellent). Bierman, Lester, Millner, Moscrip, Riley Smith and Wilson are in the College Football Hall of Fame. Very tough set.
