Nicest set we have ever seen with 42 issued and 7 variations in remarkable condition. 20 Sports stars and 1 variation (Tony Zale) and 22 movie stars with 6 variations. Sports stars include 2 Tennis (Budge (nr mt) & Hardwick (ex)), 5 baseball (Cavaretta (ex), Grove (nr mt), Tresh (nr mt), Trout (nr mt), Wakefield (vg-ex)), 3 Golf (Ferrier (ex-mt), Snead (vg-ex), Mangrum (nr mt)), 1 basketball (Mikan (ex+)), 5 football (Waterfield (ex-mt), McAfee (nr mt), 2 Trippi including a picture size variation (ex+, nr mt), Standlee (nr mt, badly o/c), Groza (ex+-mt)), 1 swimmer (Kiefer, ex-mt) and 1 boxer (Zale, 2 copies, both nr mt, one o/c). Movie Star Cards are in exceptional condition with 22 near mint and the balance of 6 cards vg-ex. The Album has an excellent appearance and is very good. Very rarely seen as a set and almost never seen in this condition.
