Lot 357.  Real Photo Post Cards of Jack Johnson-Jim Jefferies of July 4th 1910. Historic "great white hope" when Jefferies was brought out of retirement to try and win back the title. Postcard was postally used 6 days after the fight and included the telling message "The rottenest deal ever put before the public". Accompanied by ticket stubs from the fight. The postcard is excellent + and the stubs are very good. Winning Bid $220.

Lot 358.  2 PSA Graded T9 Turkey Reds of #55 James Jefferies and #76 Jack Johnson. The two fighters who were matched in the memorable 1910 fight (see postcard above) were both graded VG-EX 4. Both cards show minor corner wear with clean backs. Winning Bid $1,577.

Lot 359.  Group of 4 T9 Boxing highlighted by #65-Sam Langford (very good). Also #56-Jack Sullivan (vg+, upper left corner light crease), #73-Al Kaufman (very good) and #58-Packy McFarland (very good front, slight soiling on rear). Winning Bid $646.

Lot 360.  Group of 4 T9 Boxing with #52-Abe Attell. All with pinholes at the top. Attell, noted as much for his involvement fixing the 1919 World Series as for his boxing, is in excellent condition except for the pair of pinholes. Others included are 54-Johnny Coulon (very good with one pinhole), 72-Honey Mellody (ex+ front with note to the pinhole, two small pne marks on the rear) and 62-Jimmie Gardner (near excellent front with pinhole and two small pen marks on the rear). Winning Bid $400.

Lot 361.  Extensive collection of 170 Boxing Exhibits. Highlights include 19 exhibits of Jack Dempsey, 10 of Gene Tunney, 2 of Rocky Marciano and 1 each of John L. Sullivan, Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson and Jake LaMotta. The great majority of these are in excellent condition. In addition there are 86 cards from the 1920's and 1930's (good to excellent) and 50 green tint cards from the 1940's (almost all excellent and better). There are some duplicate cards but most of these are color variations. Winning Bid $2,541.
