Lot 162. Exhibit Supply Co. 1922 set of 72. Beautiful second year Exhibit Company set is noted for the expanded size, the lack of major names and the inclusion of umpires. The set is uniformly ex-mt or better on front however some of the cards have a "price" neatly written in pencil in a corner on the rear. These are noted with an "*" after the grade. The pencil marks erase very cleanly. Highlights: Rixey (ex-mt, *), Ross Youngs (ex-mt), Klem (vg-ex, *), Evans (ex-mt front, *), Heilman (ex-mt front, *), and Baker (ex-mt). Also in the set are Joe Wood (nr mt, *), Walter Mails (ex-mt, *) and Moses Yellowhorse (nr mt). Balance: Almost all the cards appear ex-mt or better, however most have a small pencil mark or other mark. The pencil marks erase very cleanly. The Earl Smith card is fair and the Ray Grimes is good.
