Lot 373. 34 autographed golf balls, all obtained in person by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Golf writer Gary D'Amato at Tournaments he covered. Many were signed at Augusta (on Masters golf balls) or at US Opens (on US Open balls). Signed by 24 golfers including Jack Nicklaus, Byron Nelson, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, John Daly, Ernie Els and Sam Parks Jr. Parks won the US Open in 1935 at Oakmont and he has signed a 1994 US Open ball at Oakmont. Other golfers are Corey Pavin who autographed a 1995 US Open ball at Shinnecock, which he won, Davis Love III, Hal Sutton, Tom Watson, Lee Janzen, Loren Roberts (2 balls), Billy Mayfair, Duffy Waldorf, Dave Stockton, Steve Elkington, Bob Tway, Chip Beck, Larry Mize, Ian Woosnan, Gordon Sherry, Trip Kuehne, Tom Lehman, Pete Jacobson, Jerry Kelly, Mike Springer, Steve Striker, Paul Azinger, Jeff Sluman and 3 unidentified.
