Lot 110.  1952 Topps short set of 310. Nice run with 50% ex-mt or better and almost 70% excellent or better. Highlights: 1-Pafko (ex+-mt front but tape stain on rear), 11-Rizzuto (gd, tiny spot of paper loss and tape stain on rear), 33-Spahn (ex), 36-Hodges (ex+, badly o/c), 37-Snider (ex-mt, o/c), 59-Roberts (vg-ex), 80-Wehmeir (vg-ex), 88-Feller (ex), 129-Mize (vg), 175-Martin (vg-ex), 191-Berra (good), 195-Minoso (vg), 216-Ashburn (nr mt, o/c), 227-Garagiola (nr mt, o/c); 243-Doby (ex+-mt), 261-Mays (gd-vg), 268-Lemon (ex-mt), 274-Branca (ex+), 277-Wynn (vg); Balance: 49 cards nr mt, 91 cards ex-mt, 79 cards excellent, 46 cards very good, 26 cards good-very good.

Lot 111.  1952 Topps #311-Mickey Mantle graded SGC 1. Card has several problems but offers an affordable copy of one of the hobby’s most famous cards. Multiple creases and some abrasions on the back but a decent appearance.

Lot 112.  1952 Topps #312-Jackie Robinson and 1952 Topps #313-Roy Campanella (SGC 60 EX 5). Very nice Campanella card with a mysterious full size Robinson card for which grading was declined with the remark that it was trimmed on two sides.
Winning Bid $1,183.


Lot 113.  1952 Topps #407-Ed Mathews SGC 50 VG/EX 4. Very nice example of the condition conscious last card. The off centering to the left kept the card from a higher grade.
Winning Bid $2,148.


Lot 114.  1952 Topps group of 3 graded high #’s. All cards have the appearance of near mint cards but have been down graded for unspecified reasons. Includes 317-Conrad Marrero (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), 343-Dick Gernert (SGC 80 EX/NM 6) and 369-Dick Groat (SGC 60 EX 5).
Winning Bid $357.


Lot 115.  1952 Topps Hall of Famer High # group of 6. Includes 333-Reese (appears ex+ but has small spot of paper loss in upper right margin), 384-Crosetti (fr-gd), 392-Wilhelm (vg), 394-Herman (near ex), 396-Williams (ex) and 400-Dickey (fair).

Lot 116.  1952 Topps High Numbers. Outstanding group of 23 in excellent condition. Includes 313-Thomson, 321-Black, 325, 339, 341, 342-Labine, 355, 356, 358, 363-367, 370, 375, 378, 380, 387, 389, 391, 397 and 399.

Lot 117.  1952 Topps High Numbers. Nice group of 28 high numbers with all cards very good. Some might have a crease or a wrinkle at the corner. Includes 315-Durocher, 316, 322-324, 327-9, 335-337, 339-340, 348-350, 359-361, 368, 371, 373, 386, 388, 398, 401, 404 and 405.
