Lot 252. Complete Collection of all 28 autographed Major League yearbooks from 1951 (13) and 1952 (15). All signatures were gotten in person by a MLB photographer. A terrific lot for the publication collector or the autograph collector. Twenty eight of the books have from 1 to 31 autographs in the books adjacent to their pictures. The total autographs number 163 which include 10 Hall of Famers including Joe DiMaggio and Rogers Hornsby. Other notable autographs are Billy Martin (x2) and Jackie Jensen. Highlight books are the 1951 Miracle Giants which has 31 signatures including Mays, Durocher and Irvin and the 1952 Cleveland Indians with 28 signatures including 4 Hall of Famers (Lopez, Lemon, Wynn and Doby). Overall condition of the books is excellent with a couple of the heavily autographed books showing some separation at the spine.
