Lot 259. 1926 USC-Notre Dame First Program. An extremely rare program commemorating the first football game ever between the U. of Southern California and Notre Dame. Two years removed from the 4 Horsemen and 2 years before Rockne’s famous “Win one for the Gipper” Notre Dame defeated USC in their first game, 13-12 on December 4, 1926. As everyone knows, the rivalry continues today as one of the greatest in College football. The 32 page program was part of a bound edition and was trimmed. All the contents of the historic program are intact.
