Lot 288. 1953-4 Parkhurst set of 100 with five cards SGC graded. Beautiful high grade set with nearly 50% near mint or better and over 75% ex-mt. The graded cards all appear to be under graded unless aging of the very poor paper which was used to print the cards was taken into account. Highlights: 1-Lumley (ex), 13-Horton (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), 24-Richard (SGC 60 EX 5), 26-Harvey (ex+), 27-Beliveau (80 EX/NM 6), 46-Sawchuk (ex), 50-Howe (SGC 60 EX 5), 53-Worsley (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), 56-Bathgate (ex+-mt), 57-Howell (nr mt) 100-Quackenbush (vg); Balance: 44 cards near mint, 27 cards ex-mt, 15 cards excellent, 3 cards very good.
