Lot 325.  N105 Duke Cowboy Scenes near set with 21 of the 25 cards. Missing Attacking A Mail Coach, Return from a Hunt, The Round Up and Scouting Duty. A spectacular appearing set with 14 cards appearing near mint. Closer inspection reveals only two are actually near mint with the balance having some paste residue, small stains, or a tiny speck of paper loss in the border. The balance of 7 are very good and one is good due to heavy paste remains on the back.

Lot 326.  T25 Actors Between the Acts set of 50 and T27 Actress Series group of 53 different. The T25 set includes 25 cards excellent, 19 cards very good and 6 cards good. The T27’s include 14 gold borders; 22 white borders; 17 starry canopy and condition averages very good.

Lot 327.  E43 American Caramel Co. Circus Caramels, set of 20. Nice condition set with ten cards a strong vg-ex and the balance good-very good.

Lot 328.  E49 American Caramel Co. Wild West Caramels, set of 20. Tough set to find, especially in this condition. 8 cards including Buffalo Bill and Kit Carson are excellent-mint except for a light transparent glue reside on the rear. The balance are very good with 3 good. A few cards have E49 written in pencil in the upper right corner of the rear.

Lot 329.  E50 Dockman Wild West Gum, set of 24. A striking set with historic personalities such as Buffalo Bill, Kit Carson, Sitting Bull, General Custer and Teddy Roosevelt. Condition is very good (some better) throughout with 4-5 cards good.

Lot 330.  R13 1930 American G-Men set of 48 and R61 1936 M. Pressner & Co. Government Agents vs. Public Enemies, set of 24. Both are strip card sets. Grading for the two sets is as follows: R13 American G-Men- 16 cards excellent, 14 cards very good, 12 cards good and 6 cards fair-poor. R61 Gov’t Agent vs. Public Enemies: 7 cards excellent, 11 cards very good, 4 cards good and 2 cards fair-poor.

Lot 331.  R14 American Historical Characters near set of 24 cards, missing 6. An extremely difficult set. Our consignor told us he had been trying to complete the set for years with little success. The set consists of 10 different historical characters with 3 cards for each, numbered 1, 2 or 3. Highlights: Jesse James #1 (fair-good), George Washington (vg-ex). Balance: 4 excellent, 3 vg-ex, 7 very good, 3 good, 1 fair, 4 appear near mint but were probably trimmed. The missing are Captain Kidd #2, Christopher Columbus #’s 1 and 2, John Paul Jones #’s 1 and 3 and Stephen Decateur #3.

Lot 332.  1941 Mutoscope Exhibit set of 64. Striking, beautiful set featuring, what was in the period, risque drawings of women. Arguably the most colorful set ever produced. This very popular set is in near mint condition throughout. Should be graded.

Lot 333.  R59 1944 Gum Inc. American Beauties magnificent set of 24 with 12 cards very high graded by SGC. This spectacular near mint-mint set includes 12 cards graded as follows: SGC 9 (1), SGC 8.5 (2), SGC 8 (5), SGC 7.5 (1), SGC 7 (1), SGC 6 (2). There are 4-5 cards off-center.

Lot 334.  R60 1936-37 G-Men and Heroes of the Law, 106 cards, including 1-24 with/without copyright complete and 5 1-24 variations; 74 different in series 25-166, and nos. 181, 239, 262 and 279. A detailed list of all numbers is available on request. There are 54 excellent or excellent-mint with the great majority of the balance being very good. There are 4 rare skip-numbered cards from the later series, 181 (vg), 239 (good), 262 (vg) and 279 (vg).

Lot 335.  R73 1930’s Goudey Indians partial set of 166 of the 216 numbered cards. One of the more complex sets ever, issued over several years, in series of 24, 48 (with red or blue stripes at the bottom), 96, 192, 216, 264, 288 and 312, all of which contained 24 or 48 cards. There are a great number of rarities in the Goudey Indians set, not by the numbers, but by the numbers within the series. Several are in this lot including #158 Hee-Ohks-Te-Kin in the series of 288 and #216 Torturing Their Victims in the series of 312 and all the cards in the series of 48 numbered above #100, of which there are 21 in this group. The offered group is in unusually nice condition. The condition breakdown of the 166 cards, which include #’s 1-109 is as follows: 19 cards ex-mt, 44 cards excellent, 43 cards very good-excellent, 47 cards very good, 13 cards good. A list of the missing numbers as well as a list of the cards by series is available on request.

Includes V339-6 Guns and Pistols set of 50 (mostly excellent and better); V339-7 Missiles and Satellites set of 50 (nr mt); V339-12 Race Against Time set of 40 includes some sports related cards (vg-ex); V427-1 Mr. Baloney’s Comics near set of 48, missing 4 (26, 28, 30, 37) (nr mt); V339-9 Operation Sea Dog, part set, 28 cards of 50 (very good); V334-8 Movie & TV Stars, 13 cards (nr mt); Also 4 additional cards from Dot Line Drawings (2); Adventures of Radisson (1); Zorro (1).

Lot 337.  Collection of 3 Mother’s Cookies non-sports partial sets from the early 1950’s. All in the format of the Mothers Cookies baseball sets of 1952 and 1953. Offered here are similar style, but much more difficult sets of automobiles, Movie Stars and Radio-TV Stars. D57 Movie Stars – partial set of 33 of the 63 cards, 31 cards are ex-mt or nr mint, 2 cards are very good; D72 Sports Cars – near set of 41 of the 42 cards, missing #14, 29 cards ex-mt or near mint, 9 cards very good, 3 cards good; D77 Television and Radio Stars – partial set of 37 of the 63 cards, 30 cards ex-mt or near mint, 5 cards very good, 2 cards good; 111 cards in all. Included are Xeroxes of two pieces of advertising for the car set and the Movie Stars.

Lot 338.  Collection of 44 non-sport wrappers from 1951 to 1978. Highlights: 1953 Topps Tarzan and the She Devil, 1959 Fleer Three Stooges, 1964 Donruss Addams Family and 1969 Topps Wacky Ads, 6 cards. Many of the latter packs have cards or insets still in the pack. The collection is in 4 pocket plastic sheets in a 3 ring binder and is in excellent condition. R701-15 Bowman TV and Radio Stars set of 96, 71 cards excellent to near mint with at least half being near mint. Balance very good, a few good. R710-3 Topps Hit Stars set of 88, Ex+-mt to near mint set of 88. R710-4 Topps Who Z at Star set of 80. 40 cards excellent and better, balance good-very good.1960 Fleers Spins and Needles set of 80.
