Lot 169. C57 set of 50 from 1912-1913. This set, by an unknown maker, is considered the toughest of the early hockey sets. Condition is unusually nice with 82% excellent and better and is as nice a set as you’re likely to find. Highlights: 1-Vezina (excellent front, minor back damage), 2-Broadbent (ex-mt), 3-Benedict (ex), 15-Cleghorn (ex-mt), 16-Joe Hall (ex), 20-Art Ross (ex), 41-Lester Patrick (ex), 43-Fred Taylor (ex-mt), 44-Newsy Lalonde (vg), 48-Joe Malone (vg).
