Lot 142. Jim Thorpe. One of, if not the most famous athlete of the 20th century. Born in 1888 and died in 1953 at the age of 64, less than a year after he signed this card. Perfectly autographed ‘Jim Thorpe” in blue ball point on a used government post card addressed to John Smith, postmarked Reno, NV Jun 5, 1952.
