Lot 129.  Garrison’s 1933 1 3/4 Pin celebrating the “Pennant Winners” Washington Senators. Rare pin features Joe Cronin, with “WASHINGTON” on the sweet spot of a baseball with World Series printed below. Full paper backing. Mint.
Winning Bid $533.


Lot 130.  1 3/4 ” Celluloid Pin featuring Harry Davis and the 1910 Champion Athletics. Sepia toned with a mint appearance, a portrait of Davis is inset. There is no paper backing but never having seen this pin in person, I am not sure that’s abnormal. The attached ribbon is tattered, but the copies I’ve seen show no evidence of a ribbon.

Lot 131.  Four better baseball related Advertising pins. Includes one to commemorate the 1915 Red Sox, “Compliments of S. Schuman . Mint 1 1/4”, full paper backing by Ehrman Co. 2. St. Louis Button Co. 1 1/4” pin “Root for the Browns and Green Sheet Star” with BROWNS” written across a 5 pointed star and a generic Browns Player. Paper back is all there but loose. 3. 1 1/4 celluloid from Bastian Brothers advertising “Fan Faz” drink on a baseball, bat and balls motif. Full paper backing, near mint. 4.  1 1/4” advertising the Rochester Hustlers ball team put out by the Rochester Chamber of Commerce. Also by Bastian Brothers and in near mint condition.

Lot 132.  Two rare Pins featuring baseball Managers including Cap Anson. The ornate smaller 3/4 Whitehead & Hoag pin is red, white and blue and is copyrighted 1896. The words “Our Manager” is written under a player who is apparently Anson, who was manager of Chicago from 1879 to 1897. The second pin, 1 1/4” features Jake Ganzel, manager of the Rochester team. The pin appears mint, however the paper backing is gone.
