Lot 44. Four complete Diamond matchbooks Set, the Black Border set of 1935, the 1936 “team on back”, the 1936 Chicago Cub set and the 1959 First Federal Savings Set. 1935 Black Border Set of 24. Follows the style of the 1935-6 set except for the black borders. All strikers intact and a very striking appearance. Includes 11 Hall of Famers. 1936 Team on back set of 14. Nearly identical to the 1935-6 set except for team names on the back below the player’s name. Includes both Grimm variations and has all strikers. Very good+. 1936”Chicago Cub” set of 23. Includes 21 Cubs and Dizzy Dean and Paul Waner. All with strikers and very good to excellent; 1959 First Federal Savings set of 20 features famous Washington Senators. All with strikers nd in excellent condition.
