Lot 332. 1902 Ogdens Harry Vardon “C” Series SGC A. One of the rarest Ogdens, a stand alone card and the only one from the “C” series. The pose of Vardon is the same as the other Ogdens showing him posing in front of a building holding a club with “C229” printed in the lower left corner of the card. The card is unqique in that the “Cigarettes” is written in script unlike the other Ogdens cards from the “Tab” series. The grade of “A” is irresponsible . The card does have a light crease in the lower left corner, has a clean back, is a full 1/4” larger than the other Ogdens and shows no trace of being trimmed or any writing. The likelihood is SGC never graded another one.
