Lot 386. Collection of 263 1930-1975 Arcade cards of Entertainers, Music, Radio and TV stars. The collection includes a 1940’s set of 32 Band Leaders from the Mutoscope Company in near mint condition with postcard backs, A set of 32 Recording artists from 1965, a set of 32 Male TV stars from 1975 and a corresponding set of 16 Female stars. These were the last sets produced by the Exhibit Supply Co. In addition there are 11 Radio stars from 1930-1950 and 108 Radio and TV stars from the ‘50’s. Some rare and seldom seen exhibits include Walter Winchell, Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll, Ethel Merman, Count Basie, Xavier Cugat, Guy Lombardo, Abbott & Costello, Milton Berle, Hal Hodge (Capt. Video), Martin & Lewis, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Temple, etc. Condition is mostly near mint or better with a few lesser. A detailed summary is available on request.
