Lot 391. 1925-1972 Collection of 474 “Historic” cards including 304 cards in 8 sets of 16, 32 or 64 cards. Earlier cards include 6 rare Pirate cards from 1925 (Captain Kidd), 17 from the Indian series of 1938, 34 photos from the 1945-45 World War II series, and 18 cards with action from Korea. The sets include 1951-3 Jet Planes (64), 1958 Davy Crocket (16), 1958 New Jet Planes (64), 1958-9 Dream Cars (32), 1962-3 Show Cars/Hot Rods (32), 1963-6 Astronauts (32), 1963-6 Astronauts with 8 wrong backs (32), 1972 Show Cars/Hot Rods (32). There is also a near set of 1960-70 Sports Cards of 63, missing 1. There is a mixture of blank and postcard backs. Almost all the cards are ex+-mt to near mint.
