Very rare, possibly one of a kind, private real photo post card taken during 1916 First World Series game at Ebbets Field.
The card showing a view from left center field shows game action with the Sox in the field. The players have been neatly identified including the pitcher Carl Mays. The game is the first World Series game at Ebbets Field. The game was the 3
rd
game in the Series, was won by Brooklyn in a Series eventually won by the Red Sox. The photo shows some fading on the right. The AZO postcard (Arrows pointing up) has been unused but does have a pencil address written sloppily on the back.
