Lot 248.  W461 Exhibit Supply Co. 1921 near set of 61 missing 3. The Exhibit Supply Co.’s first baseball set which began a 46 year run. They issued 64 cards, 4 each for the 16 major league teams. The offered near set averages good-very good. The missing cards are George Burns, Williams, and Wingo. There is a Luque card, which is good, but has 5 authentic autographs on the back (Jack Salveson, Glenn Spencer, Ralph Bagle, Alfred Smith and Blondy Ryan). Lot 256.  Set 81 Exhibits near set of 29 with an extra Hornsby. The 3 missing are Frisch, McQuillan and Ring. Nice set with 60% very good. Lot 257.  Set 82 group of 15 Exhibits from the set of 28 in amazing condition. Incredible condition group - all near mint and better. The players are as follows: Faber, Groh, Harris, Hartnett, Hornsby, Judge, Meusel, Ring, Rixey, Sisler, Speaker, Todt, P. Waner, Cy Williams, J. Wilson. All cards are pink except Groh, which is sepia.

Lot 258.  Set 83 Anonymous Company near set of 13, missing Gehrig, O’Doul and Vance. A very popular set filled with All-Stars. All with postcard backs and the "Not to be Used in Exhibit Machines" statement. Highlights: Ruth (ex), Cochrane (ex front, spot of paper loss on rear), Foxx (vg), Grove (ex), Hornsby (ex-mt), Klein (ex-mt), Simmons (ex-mt), Traynor (ex front, some paper loss on rear), P. Waner (ex-mt) and Wilson (ex ). Balance: ex-mt or better.

Lot 259.  Set 82 Ralph Pinelli Exhibit Proof with 8 Set 82 Exhibits cards of Pinelli showing different shades (colors). There is one graded (PSA GOOD 2, which appears excellent) in yellow-orange, three others are excellent (red, orange and blue); Two are very good (green and light green) and two are good (purple and grey-green). The black and white proof mount measures 4 1/2" x 7" and the photo about 4" x 6". The image is the same as the exhibit, however there is more background.
Winning Bid $711.


Lot 260.  Two anonymous and very rare four in one Exhibits using poses from W517 and the Set 83 Exhibits. First card shows Joe Judge-Paul Waner-Willie Kamm-Travis Jackson and the second shows Bing Miller-Ed Collins-Geo. Kelly-Charlie Klein. Both cards are excellent.
