Lot 7. PC743 Bregstone Postcard group of 22 real photo postcards of the St. Louis teams with 4 Hall of Famers. A massive set produced in St. Louis over the years 1908-1911 depicting at least 56 players from the St. Louis Browns and Cardinals. The cards all carry the AZO or KRUKO designation with the arrows pointing upward for the AZO’s. Several cards have a light pencil notation on the rear in the handwriting of great collector Buck Barker (noted by (wr)). Several other cards have pinholes, indicated by "ph". The grades indicated are without consideration for the writing or pinholes. Included from the St. Louis Browns- Bailey (ex), Criss (ex, wr), Dineen (ex-mt), Grahame (ex-mt, wr), Griggs (ex), Hartzell (ex, wr), Howell (ex, Charles Barker rubber stamp on rear), Jones (ex-mt, wr), McAleer (ex+, wr), Patterson (ex-mt), Pelty (ex-mt, wr), Schweitzer (ex-mt front, wr, sm piece of tape on rear), Smith (ex, much pencil notation) Stone (ex), Waddell (gd-vg), Wallace, (ex, 4 ph), Williams (ex+), Included from the St. Louis Cardinals- Bresnahan (ex, wr), Charles (vg wr), Konetchy (ex, 4 ph), O'Hara,(ex, wr) and Willis (ex, 4 phs).
