Lot 37. Four 1909 Supplements from Boston Papers issued in rarely seen pairs. These rare supplements are tough enough to find, but finding them in attached pairs is nearly impossible. The first pair issued by the Boston Sunday Post was from a set of 18 Red Sox players and features Tris Speaker and Harry Lord. There are imperfections at the corners, otherwise in excellent condition. The second from the Boston Sunday Globe, is an even rarer pair, with an unknown checklist, is in color and features Nap Lajoie of Cleveland and Hal Chase of the Highlanders and measures 10" x 12". In remarkable excellent condition despite some tape marks on the rear of the later.
