1922 World Series stub and 2 from 1926, all from Yankee Stadium.
Lot 323. 1922 World Series stub and 2 from 1926, all from Yankee Stadium. 1922 was a sweep for the Giants in a five game series (Game 2 ended in a tie). The excellent stub (light corner crease) is from Game 4. The two stubs, from Games 6 and 7 from 1926, highlighted the Cardinals come from behind victory against the Yankees. Grover Cleveland Alexander won Game 6 and "saved" Game 7. Babe Ruth homered in Game 7. Both stubs have an ex-mt appearance but have spots of paper loss on the rear.
Winning Bid $2,040.
