Lot 48. 1888 New York Giant tobacco Trade Card with six Hall of Famers. Very rare trade card (only one known) featuring the great New York Giant team of the late 1880’s. Featured is a composite of 11 Giants including six Hall of Famers, Mickey Welch, Tim Keefe, Buck Ewing, John Ward, James O’Rourke and Roger Connor. The card measures 9” x 5”. The rear carries advertising for the City Hall Cigar Store on Park Row in downtown Manhattan. There is a strip of minor reinforcement on the left rear side and is otherwise in excellent condition.
