Lot 11. A.C. Anson 2 page (both sides, 1 sheet) ALS dated August 5, 1906. When Cap Anson’s incredible career was over he went to work for the City Clerk’s office in Chicago. The offered letter is completely in Anson’s hand on City Clerk stationary. The letter is signed AC Anson and it should be noted that above the signature, mention is made of “The Anson Co.” which could be considered an extra signature. Anson died in 1922. Excellent condition with JSA LOA.
