Lot 298. Group of 13 players from the Washington Senators in Spring Training in 1907. All of the photos were real photo postcards, taken in 1907 at Spring Training in 1907 in Galveston Texas which have been cut down and pasted in an album. I believe the pictures were owned by Jerry Edinger who was the trainer. They were originally from Buck Barker's estate with his player post cards. The first picture shows (r-l) Edinger, Lave Cross, Cantillio, Chas Jones (who I assume was an umpire) as indicated on the back. The others, except the A's team, are identified on the postcard or the black construction paper they were glued. The postcard back is visible on 7 of them. Photos of all cards are on our web site.
