Lot 300. Group of 229 Boxing and Wrestling Exhibit cards. There are 181 Boxing Exhibits with 117 coming between 1921 and 1932. There are 4 cards from the Dempsey-Tunney fight and Rocky Marciano and Cassius Clay are included in the later cards. An addition rare card is a Dempsey in a bowler hat. The group includes 6 “mystery” exhibits from about 1920, There are 18 from 1921, 2 from 1922, 19 from 1923, 12 from 1926, 24 from 1927, 32 from 1928, from the late ‘40’s, 5 from the early ‘50’s, 1 from the late ‘50’s including Patterson, a complete set from 1966 and the same set from 1964 in green tint cut from a paper proof sheet. The 48 Wrestling cards are in 2 complete sets, the 32 card set from 1950 and the 16 card set from 1966. Winning Bid $825.
