Lot 255. A collection of 537 autographed color photos (3 1/2’ x 5”) in a loose leaf album. The collection was assembled by advanced amateur photographer and collector Jack Wallin, who frequented Wrigley Field and Comiskey Park to take the photos. Wallin traded copies of the photos to players in exchange for autographs. The photos were shot in the 1970’s and 1980’s and contain 31 Hall of Famers (Anderson, Banks, Bench, Brett, Brock, Carew, Carlton, Carter, Eckerlsey, Fingers, Fisk, Gossage, Jackson, Jenkins, McCovey, Molitor, Morgan, Murray, Niekro, Palmer, Perez, Ryan, Sandberg, Schmidt, Seaver, Smith, Stargell, Sutter, Sutton, Winfield and Yastrzemski). All the photos are in 4 pocket plastic sheets where one HOF’er (Stargell) was damaged from the plastic as well as a few others. Otherwise everything is in near mint condition. Minimum Bid $300.
