Lot 87. 1927 W560 complete set of 64 in 4 sheets of 16. Near mint sheets. The set includes 49 baseball players (Ruth, Gehrig, Johnson, Hornsby, Foxx, etc.), 6 football (Ken strong, Chris Cagle, etc), 3 Boxers (Dempsey, etc) and others (Lindbergh, etc). The sheets includes 12 jokers (Ruth, Dempsey, Foxx, Strong, etc.), which are much rarer than the playing cards. The majority of the existing population of W560’s came from a warehouse find years ago, which included no jokers. The sheets are all near mint, however the centering is close on one side and the bottom of each sheet. Minimum Bid $1,500.
