Lot 135. Illustrated Football Annual complete set of 24 (1930-53). Very difficult to assemble high grade complete set of college football’s first annual magazine (1930-1953). Covers before 1942 are art covers, after that, actual players including Herman Wedemeyer, Frank Sinkwich, Bobby Layne, Chuck Bednarik, Jim Owens, etc. A Rare 1930 and very scarce 1931, both Vg-Ex with spine tape and scarce 1953 last edition is Ex with spine damage, small chip on bottom of front cover. Remainder are 10 Ex-Mt, 9 Ex+ and 2 Excellent. An article from the 2003 College Football Historical Society recalling and reviewing the magazine is included.
