Lot 222. Set of 62 1946-52 Albertype Hall of Fame Postcards. The Albertype Company, one of the Postcard collecting hobby’s most notable and prolific issuers was selected by the Hall of Fame to issue the first mass produced post card set. This is the Type 2 variety which can be differentiated from the Type 1 by “New York” being spelled out in the bottom line. The set features all 2 of the inducted Hall of Famers through 1952. The cards are all ex+-mt to near mint except for two cards we noted with a slight wrinkle. Minimum Bid $500.
