It was the first Walker Cup match since 1938 because of the war. The U.S. won 8-4. Signatures are highlighted by U.S. Coach Francis Ouimet and team members Dick Chapman, Frank Stranahan, Fred Kammer, Willie Turnesa and Bud Ward of the American Team. Charles Stowe, R.J. White, Joe Carr, P.B. Lucas and Cecil Ewing signed from the British team. The program is in immaculate condition and includes a pairing sheet for the following day. Minimum Bid $600.
