Lot 239. 3 Washington Senator Yearbooks – 1947, 1950 and 1951. Three rare books, generally considered to be yearbooks. The 1947 is an 8 5/8” x 5 1/2” 16 page pamphlet featuring Walter Johnson on the cover. Inside are small photos of all the Senators with a few lines of biographical information. The 1950 yearbook, called a picture album, with its turquoise cover features full page photos with biographical information. There is a tack hole and a small missing square of paper in the upper left corner (gd-vg). The third book was issued to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the American League, is in excellent condition and focuses on Washington’s history in the American League. Winning Bid $440.
