Lot 220. Large cut (4 ¼” x 2 ¼”) of John A “Bid McPhee”.

Winning Bid $11,136 “Biddie” McPhee was a fairly obscure 2^nd Baseman with the 19^th Century Cincinnati Reds until his induction in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. His career with the Cincinnati Reds lasted from 1882 to 1899. The cut reads “John A “Bid” McPhee Cincinnati Nationals 1882-1900 Manager 1901-2 “ and is in extraordinary condition. Accompanied by a Kevin Keating COA. Winning Bid $11,136.
